  • ok, how bout' dem books den?

    can anyone recommend a GOOD book to get me on the right track to doing my own basic setups? i'm not saying i wanna be a luthier, i just wanna be able to keep my baby's runnin' the way i like em' at all times...       "How To Make Your Electric Guitar Play Great" by Dan Erlewine is the standard for learning setups. I highly recommend it.

                figures, the free stuff is never there when you need it! i'll have to try back later. thanks for the replies guys. i bought that doug marks metal method intermediate-advanced back in the 90's and never came close to completing the lessons. it's saturday, it's raining like a bitch, i've got a vcr in my bed/practice room. hmm, wonder how much damage i could do today?!
