I just took out the stock SD's and in the bottom of each pickup cavity is a little clip with a grounding wire that routes into the control cavity. Do I need to leave this there or can I remove it?

Re: EMG installation question....
You can do either one.They do not need to be hook up to anything.But I would leave them in case you do not like the way the EMGs sound.That way it is a easy switch back to passive pickups.Mike
