• Jackson 24 3/4 Neck 22 Fret ??

Hi

Did Jackson ever do a 24 3/4 Neck with 22 Frets ? All the Fusion models seem to be 24 frets.
If there is - I am looking for one of these to put on a parts mutt

Thanks Newc
I was looking for a pointy though . I have never seen one that isn't 24 fret .
I have a V style guitar that I used years ago (15-18 years) .It was my main guitar - actually only one . It is sort of RR1 style . I couldn't afford the real thing .
I would love to modify the electrics and put a Jackson neck on it but it is 24 3/4 scale with a 22 fret neck . I will never sell it - sentimental reasons
It is actually a Yamaha

Older Japanese guitars are great. I'm partial to Aria's (my first guitar).

I've had the idea to do a neck swap as well, but from what I've read, Jackson 24 fret necks only go with Jackson 24 fret neck bodies. I think (don't know for sure) this means if you bought someone else's 24 fret neck, it would fit in a 22 neck pocket (scale length must match). You could do a Warmoth neck.

But if the reason for the neck swap is to make your Yamaha look like a Jackson (shark fins/binding) I guess this won't work. That was the reason I was looking for one.

I have a second Aria and I'm not even sure the body is an Aria. I saw the same body on a JB Player on ebay, but that wasn't original either.

Yeah
I need Sharkfins , binding , 22 frets + 24 3/4 scale .
I'm not asking for much
It's a long shot but you never know .

I wonder how far off a Fusion neck would be? You'd pick up an extra pair of frets as well.

Sharkfins , binding , 22 frets + 24 3/4 scale would mean a Custom Shop neck pretty much. All the Dinky's with a Fusion scale came with 24 frets.
