volume pot hole diameter?

hey, kev's makin me a pickguard at the moment... does anyone have a volume pot hole diameter handy? i thought it was 1/4, but i think that's a little too small.

i'm at work at the moment and can't bust out a ruler.

<font color="yellow">I could be wrong, but I think the common is 5/16", but I think that depends on the manufacturer and if the pot is say, push/pull etc.

But, as a general rule, I think you'll be fine with the ol' 5/16". </font>

import pots are 5/16, US pots like CTS are 3/8.
