I was wondering if OBL L500XL p/u's will drop in directly into my SL2H or does it need some sort of mod? Thanks in advance.

Just use the mounting rings that come with them, since the L500's are a little smaller than a regular humbucker.please don't put it into words, 'cause I fear what you're thinking -

I have the same pickup as you. With all of the "real" Bill Lawerence controversy, are ours the correct ones? Mine says "Made in West Germany" - you know it's old.Comment
