Take out or leave in?
The finish on there now is similar to gunstock oil so it'll come off very easily (already did the neck). I'm going to apply a bit of stripper, scrub the finish off, sand down what's left starting with probably 400-grit as I did on the neck. Following that I'll be applying a dye then finishing with clear nitro. I'm a little worried about the dye discoloring the ferrules and being unable to clean them up again. They're going to be kind of a pain to pull so I thougth I'd ask before digging in. Thoughts?
