I am assuming its a Jackson by the inlays and such, but is it? And if so, when did they start sending out pics

Shredder - thanks for posting the pic
Yeah, it's a Jackson custom order from about a little over a year ago that's nearing comnpletion within 2-3 months.
I received the pics from my dealer for approval of the pot and switch locations. This is b/c the template was lost and they needed to confirm the positions before drilling. The gold knobs are not actually selected, just for show.
Those are Abalone inlays
Regular headstock
mahogany neck & body, ebony board, and maple top without the centerblock
string thru tuneomatic
ivoroid binding all around
i may have another pic on the way.

Re: Firebird Pics

tim, looks like we've got some similar irons in the fire! i'm waitin on a neck (22 fret rev head jackson style with quilt cap, no inlays on the ebony board), and then i'll be sending it off with my firebird body (one hum, one knob, string thru, quilt top, ivory/black/ivory binding) to get painted trans sapphire. once done, sully guitars serial# js003 will live!
