Mike,

I have #13 that's pretty much mint, a few playing swirls, but that's it. I got $2k in it, email me if you have any interest...

Thanx!

Nice...how does it compare to the JCF01 in terms of neck profile and frets?

and.... do you leave the hang tag on the JCF when you play it

Duncan Distortion in the bridge and Jazz in the neck.

Yeah Newc, how is she compared with JCF01?

Re: PCS Rhoads #84

The PCS neck is much thinner than the JCF neck - it's close to a 1990 USA Warrior. I don't have anything recent to compare it to - just old guitars
But I'd say the neck thickness is close to a DK2, maybe (remember, my DK2 no longer has its original neck so I can't directly compare the two).
The PCS neck also feels very wide, even though it's the same as all my other Jacksons.
By contrast, the JCF neck is very close to a classical neck, but with a curved fretboard (as opposed to the perfectly flat board found on classical guitars) - I mean that b!tch is F-A-T

The guy I got it from musta been in a Korn/Godsmack/Gnu-Metal band, as there were two bass strings for the 5th and 6th strings, and they sounded horrible. Could only tune em up to D before they got too tight to go any higher.
Needless to say, I immediately changed them to 9's and dropped the bridge to playable position
I'll have to let the truss rod sit for a few days, as it may have permanent relief from those bass strings. I tried to adjust the rod but it won't budge as easily as it should.
The relief ain't bad, but I'd prefer to start a setup from arrow straight.
The frets are tall and skinny, but don't seem quite as tall as the JCF01 frets - maybe a hair shorter, though I haven't measured them.

And yes, I leave my JCF01 hang tag on when I play - it adds sustain
Wish I could find one for my PCS

Anyways, thanks, guys

Great one Newc, I love the PCS Rhoads. Good luck with it. By the way, I was so distraught about losing tha Warrior to Joe that I went out with a serious case of gas and bought a quilt top '94 Les Paul Custom to ease the pain
