Jackson Pickups - Resistance Testing

When I use my multimeter and test DiMarzio and Seymour Duncan pickups for resistance, I always come up with a number within a 1/2 point of what shows on the DiMarzio and Duncan websites. However, when I test 4 different Jackson pickups, the resistance values are all much smaller than what Jackson shows in their 1986 catalog. Anybody know what the deal is?

Are you testing each coil seperately or wired in parrallel? Or are they wired according to the schematics and have a lead on the hot and ground?
