Question about a custom shop guitar.

Hey all. I'm going to order a Custom Shop Soloist soon but I haven't decided on what the neck should be made of. At first I wanted it to be Maple with Korina wings but now I'm thinking of going with Korina and Korina wings.

How does Korina differ from Maple as a neck wood?

What differences in care should I take with Korina than I usually would with Maple?

Korina is a distant cousin of (another species) Mahogany, It's a good choice for a neck, and in comparison to Maple...Korina will be a bit darker, and a bit more resonant (you'll feel Korina resonating much more than Maple).
