hello, i was thinking of replacing my stock HZ's with Dimarzio Evo's in my DKMG. so u think i'll have to fill in the cavity from the sides? ive heard HZ's are much bigger than normal humbuckers. has anyone put different p'ups in their DKMG apart from 81's or 85's?? i really wanna go for Evo's in my DKMG...it'll be a dream axe, but the only thing holding me back is the question of how ugly they'll look in a bigger cavity...please advise...

It's only the trim ring that's different. The HZs aren't any different as far as size. At least that was my experience when I changed a friend of mines HZ to a JB in his ESP. It looks fine.My goal in life is to be the kind of asshole my wife thinks I am. -
