  • Fret size for new neck ?

hey guys, what kind of fret size would you suggest I get for my new neck? I'm going for a Fender sized nut about 1.6? I want something that is modern and allows for a lot of bending. Anyway, please let me know your suggestions. Thanks

Dunlop 6100. Width is .112" Height is .055 or Dunlop 6105 Width is .096" Height is .047"

Here's a link to Warmoth so you can compare for yourself.

those two fret sizes seem to be the most popular these days. They are big enought o allow for easy fretting, and will stand up to a couple levelingsand dressings if you play heavily. I have heard good things about the stainless steel frets as well-might want to look into those.

6105 looks a little tall, what do you guys think about the medium jumbos ?

          Brank new unplayed 6105's.

A multi comparison..the top, slightly used med jumbo's, middle is 6105, bottom is fender med.

Just make sure they're high enough. It really sucks to play on low frets. YOu loose the speed and you're foreced to press harder. More noise. Yuk! Ugly! Best is huge and tall! or scalloped...
