Volume control not working

Hi guys, I recently bought a JS20 off a friend for a hundred bucks $AU or so. It's more of my backup guitar than anything, but the one catch (why I paid only $100) was that the volume knob doesn't work.

I opened the cavity, nothing is hooked up to the volume pot at all, so I have no idea what to do. Everything else works fine.

Any ideas?

do you feel comfortable with a soldering iron? YOu can get diagrams for seymourduncan.com for almost any pickup/control cofiguration, but I wouldn't suggest doing it unless you have experience with it. Other than that, you can always bring it to a good tech in your area if you know of one.
