  • NYC-area Jackson Repair Guru Needed!

Does anybody know of a good, reliable, not-too-expensive guitar tech/repairguy in the NYC/LI area who is well versed in Jacksonia, particularly the various active electronics setups? I have a few gits that need to be re-wired.

    Thanks

I've got a strat in for a fret job right now - I'll post the result. I like the guys at 30th St, but I've never had them do any work for me.

        Thanks guys.

I would prefer to stay out of Manhattan if possible. I'm thinking about just trying to re-wire the guitars myself, but I am like the world's worst soldering-gun operator.

& Grandturk one of John Suhrs old apprentices lives out here he does awesome fret work. he refretted an old mockingbird w/ neck binding & it came back playing great.

Yes, that would help. I wouldn't mind getting the name/number of Suhr's apprentice too. Thanks.
