• help with trem (liscenced floyd) identification

So I picked up a new (used) RR1 last night and I ended up playing it for almost 5 hours, falling madly in love with it in the process. There used to be a nice reference thread comparing and contrasting all the various jackson trems (with pictures, etc), but I think it went down with the ship on the old board, which model liscenced floyd is this:

the serial is UO2660, which dates it to 1994; although it's not an RR number? I'll post some more pics of the guitar as soon as I can get them online

    Thanks!

Jackson JT-590. It's basically a Jackson logoed Schaller Floyd

I have that trem on my 91 Fusion. Feels very smooth and stays in tune like nobody's business.

It's the next best thing to an OFR, a super-high quality trem. It'd almost be pointless "upgrading" to an OFR, to me anyways.

Oh no, the old Tremolo Info Project thread got killed by death. What a shame. I still got a lot of those pictures though, but not the drive to remake it i think. Arrgh, to hell with it!

Yes, the JT590 is a fine trem as long as the knife edges aren't worn (yet) and the threads are in good shape.
