  • Replacing a JT6

Would a OFR or a Schaller trem be a drop in mod for replacing a JT6? This is on a Model 2.

Both would work, provided they have the long (42 mm) block.

Thanks guys. I didn't know if the post were the same spacing.

The posts are spaced the same. The string spacing is a little wider on OFR/Schallers. For some reason they made the JT-6 with the string spacing a little narrower. Don't worry, the wide neck will be able to accomodate the string spacing of an OFR/Schaller with no problem!

yeah, that narrower string spacing is noticable (and annoying to me)
