Peavey V-type Front pup replacement selection

My nephew was here for a five day weekend, he has a Peavey V-type. We took it to have a new pickup put in it. (He lives in B.F.E.) When he got it back the next day we traded guitars pretty much and I would practice on it after he was asleep. That is the easiest guitar to play I've ever seen. The only thing wrong was the pickups. I just had to get one.
It will be here tomorrow or 8/4/04. I'm going to put a Full Shred at the bridge. Any suggestions for the neck pup. Model, coil split, etc. The stock pups <font color="red"> suck </font> .
