• Another Thursday Question...

5 Bands you wish you had seen but didn't or couldn't. It could be a version of a band (VH with Roth etc.)

For me:
Celtic Frost (To Mega Therion era)
Sex Pistols
Ozzy/Randy
Deep Purple (say around 1973)
UFO (Schenker era)

Honorable mention: Helmet, Mike Oldfield

The Beatles
Led Zeppelin
Cacophony (I could have seen them, but I couldn't get anyone else to go back then)
Frank Zappa
Thin Lizzy.(I like the Gorham/Robertson combo best)

I love Rhoads, but I couldn't stand to hear Ozzy forget half the words to the songs.

Fuck I saw Savatage twice with Criss Oliva, and I never knew a goddamn thing about the band, other than the song Hall of the Mountain King. They had the cleanest, clearest live sound a band could ever have though, that really stood out to me and my friends. That point always came up when we talked about concerts.

I would like to have seen
Boston and Kansas to see if they were really that good live or if it was all studio magic.
Meatloaf
Ozzy/Randy
Hendrix
