  • Boogie Bodies Guitars

Any one know much about these Guitars. I am presently looking at one and it seems very well put together it's a Tele Style. What would one of these be worth.

    Later BB

If it is indeed made in 1979 it could be very valuable depending on the particulars.

If it is made from "Left-over" 70's parts.....considerably less.

Teles have inherently less interest than the "S" style guitars.

The guitar body is a tele style made from mahogany with a quite unusual and highly figured maple Burl cap which is quite thick compared to most veneers i've seen. It has a wilkenson six saddle tele style bridge with a Seymore duncan single coil and a Schaller Golden 50's humbucker in the neck position, it has a volume (no tone knob)and a 3 way switch the neck is maple with a rosewood fretboard and a higly figured quilted maple headstock. with grover tuners and mother of pearl dot inlays with Boogie Boodies Logo.

Would $500 be a good price if it is legit?

          Thanks BB

Does NOT sound 70's to me.

            $400-500 is OK......
