  • Schecter Diamond Series

I've always loved the look of Schecters and I noticed in the new MF catalog that they have a Diamond Series Hellcat for $300. What's the quality like on these things? What's the point of origin? $300 seems like a good price, but is it a POS?

    Re: Schecter Diamond Series

Schecter Diamond series are made by Samick in Korea. Same as Epiphone and Ltd. But for what they are and what they cost, they are pretty decent.

I had a Terry Corso model and I have to say it played like butter. It was obviously a veneer maple top, but it still looked, sounded (comes with Duncan JB bridge) and played really good.

I've got the C-1 Elite and I completely concur with what the Carrot said.

The Hellcat used to be a custom order only deal that ran about two grand. Very interesting idea. I was thinking about getting one and having a new pickguard cut for it to accommodate some Burns Tri-Sonics (the Brian May pickups).
please don't put it into words, 'cause I fear what you're thinking
