          keep in mind it may be a frankenkramer-many many of those around. check for an angled headstock as well. and if it says neptune NJ also, though those can wasily be bought on ebay.

            Even if it is a USA Kramer, it would have to be in pretty good condition to fetch $500US. I've bought Barettas and Pacers, USA models, for $200-$300.

              This sounds like a 1985 Banana-head Pacer, Made in USA:
              -2 Schaller humbuckers (these are great pickups)
              -1 vol, two tone; on-on-on toggle;
              -Floyd Rose Original
              -Schaller Machine Heads

              The 'fair' market value of these is $375. This is actually a bit high for a standard line Made in USA Kramer--but the banana heads fetch a premium. I wouldn't pay $500. Pacers are valued less than Barettas. (one hum) A banana-head Baretta may fetch $400-$500 in mint.

                A couple of points on painkiller's comments: Since the headstock is a banana, but also has a block logo and the words "Pacer" on it, you know it's a made in USA neck. (That said, those "made in USA necks" were actually made in a lot of places: see http://pub69.ezboard.com/fkramerguit...picID=19.topic )

                    sounds like the plates been hijacked which means you should look closely at the body. If it is 2 hum and has an OFR like Aiminghigh says it should be OK. If you shopped Ebay awhile you could probobly find a decent one around $300
