well i got it saturday 1980 BCRich mockingbird short horn maple w.rosewood stringers, diamond inlays & the full electronics
sounds killer a real heavy one tho much heavier than my quilt maple bich, i just need a duncan for the bridge, the dimarzio sounds way too trebly

I generally really like BC Rich, but that one is just maple for me. I'll bet it sounds and plays like a beast though, and thats all that really matters [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img] Enjoy!

thanx yeah it plays real nice bridge pup is alittle too bright but no biggie

James yep its a shorthorn & for an 81 its in great shape. it took me a long time to find a nice shorthorn

Those dang knobs would give me a headache though! I'm to stupid for that stuff! That's why I keep it simple! 1 Volume, 1 Hum! hahahah

What do all those knobs do? Is it like volume, 2 tone, 2 coiltap, 2 phase switches (in and out for each pickup)........?

its actually pretty coil just about any tone ude want
master volume ,preamp volume tone
MINI TOGGLES preamp, series/parallel (kinda like coil tap but uses both coils inline instead of X wired like a humbucker) & in out phase both pups together & the chickenhead is a varitone.
most of the time I leave all the switches down standard hums pre-amp off.
