  • Is a vintage Schaller Kramer Floyd Rose a drop in replacement on new Charvel Pro Mod?

Hello. I have a 1985 Floyd Rose made by Schaller (and off of a Kramer Baretta, and was in a non-floating setup), and I am thinking about buying a new Charvel Pro Mod HH FR 1 in seafoam green (specific ocean I think it's called). Anyhow, is my vintage Floyd a drop-in replacement, with no addition body modifications required? Thank you.

Should drop in just fine. Though, the block might need to be changed. Yours should have a 42mm block, I believe (or possibly 37) for being non-recessed. If I recall correctly, certain newer Charvels have a recessed Floyd? If so, they usually use a 32mm block and you'd just have to swap that block onto your old trem.
I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

Mexican ProMods around 2013 became full recessed. They would be 32mm. My #4 Aqua Wildcard MIJ also came full recessed.

Ok 32mm block. Got it. Thank you very much.
