  • FYI: Floyd Rose Pro also fits in JT580LP tremolo route! (PICS INCLUDED)

We already know the Original Floyd Rose fits in the JT580LP tremolo route: http://audiozone.dk/index-filer/Trem...t.htm#jt580tak

Now I found visual examples of the less common Floyd Rose Pro in the JT580LP trem route. Consider this an "addendum" to Henrik's Tremolo Info Project which I linked above. Good to know!

Wow... there's a blast from the past.
I'm still kicking myself for selling that guitar.

No offense, but your neck looks WAY offset.

Nah. Looks like he's holding the guitar to take the close-up, causing the E to move in like that.

Well, I remember somebody else trying to put a FR Pro in a JT580LP route and it didn't work too well. Floyd's site even says the dimensions of the Pro are different and string spacing is also different.

This. It looks like that on both guitars pictured.

Um....no. It looks the same from the other angle. A neck pocket shim on the treble side might be in order.

None taken. They're not my guitars.

I simply found these guitars listed on a local classifieds site and figured the photos were worth sharing here because they show the Floyd Rose Pro in a JT580LP route.

Not only is there a string alignment issue on both guitars, the second guitar (DXMG) has had its neck joint modified.

In that case.... no offense, but THEIR necks look WAY offset.

I actually caught that after I had posted it. Facepalm moment.
