Hi all
just got my SLX shipped. This would be my first low end Jackson and so I’m thinking of upgrades (part of the fun in it).
Ordered a Distortion and Jazz pickup (as opposed to JB and Jazz)
since the pots pots are scratchy I started researching wiring (my first time) and saw there are various upgrades such as CTS pots and Oak Gringsby switches which are considered premium and people sell complete kits of those
anyone has experience with these upgrades and their effect on tone? Also how do I know the right CTS pots to order them n terms of form factor and fit?
