  • Hush llcx ?

I just got a second hush unit, and it has a totally different power cord arrangment than the first one I had eve though they are the same model.

The one I just got has a hard wired cord, and my first one has a barrel type adapter cord that comes off the unit. I'm just wondering which unit to keep and make sure that the guy didn't wire it himself and mess it up. Any info would help alot.

    Re: Hush llcx ?

My II CX has a wall adapter and barrel plug... My older II B is hardwired.

That switch would perform the same function on both units... I liked to use the the +4 setting when I ran it into my amp as it would
overdrive the input of my CAE3+se nicely. The -10 is obviously less in output.

Line level would be a hotter signal. So experiment with it, some thing like different signals....

If they are both II CX units, i think I'd keep the hardwired one myself. I hate the wall adapters and it might actually be quieter as the
wall adapters can induce noise if they are cheap.

    Hope that helps
