  • Jackson Floyd Rose replacement help

I'm getting a Jackson Dinky Pro MIJ from 2009 and it comes with the Jackson Licensed 580 Low Pro Floyd Rose, so I wanted to swap it out and put a Gotoh or a korean Floyd Rose (FRO1000 maybe) but I don't know the measurements.
I'm scared that it will be too small or too big and I want one that fits right in, without leaving a lot of space in there or something...any help is appreciated

Why not try the existing term before replacing?

I'd stay with the JT580LP for a while. I've been using one on m main gigging guitar for the past 4 years. I had to change the trem posts, and the lock blocks because they were slipping, but otherwise the unit itself has been great.
      A Charvel CX592, Jackson JS20 and a Jackson DK2, amongst others....

The Korean Floyd Rose is dimensionally-identical to the German Original Floyd Rose, and since the German OFR fits in the JT580LP cavity without modification, go for it. See here: http://audiozone.dk/index-filer/Trem...ct.htm#jt580lp
