  • JT-6 Nut Parts

So I picked up a beautiful looking 1987 Model 2 and was cleaning and diassembling the bridge and nut last night and accidentally dropped one of the little clamp plates that goes underneath the nut to clamp on the strings and has just straight dissapeared. Does anyone know if the Kahler ones on Whammiworld will be a direct swap? Or maybe I need to hit up Dave from FretsOnTheNet?

Check in the truss rod cavity. When I first got a Model 6, I had the same thing happen.

If you can't find it, definitely try Fretsonthenet. The JT6 nut was made by Jackson, so I'm not sure if actual Kahler parts would work for it.
I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

if you do not find it, just buy a kahler behind the nut lock, they are much better anyways.

I've never seen those clamps at FotN but Dave may have some used ones.
