    HEY GUYS

    I Need Help regarding the FR bridge upgrading.

    i got JACKSON JS32R Dinky with Licenced FR jackson JT580LP. one of my saddle nut is slipped and strings is not tightening any more. so i want to upgrade/replace this bridge with the original FR or Schaller FR bridge. i need info which type of orginal FR bridge gona fit perfectly my guitar as there are types i.e R2 nut R3 etc.

    Kindly guide me properly with model,type,make wtever which FR original bridge i should order.

    R3 is typical size however the original Jackson nut is shorter than othe OFR one. Most people typically keep the Jackson nut of it still works properly.

      so i should go for OFR with r3 nut?? and how i am goin to fix the long nut on my jackson.kindly guide me in detail.

        You will have to remove material from the shelf where the nut sits.

          Or, grind the bottom of the nut down. Whichever you think will be easiest.
          96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

                yes i am talking abt the nut.. which nut size gona fit the jackson dinky ??

                  Use an R3, the R2 is a 1 5/8 nut.
                  You're gong to have to sand down the nut shelf on the neck to get the string height correct and the nut.
                  I don't recommend grinding the nut down. It's difficult and takes forever.

                      If you are trying to fix your long nut, there may not be any hope for you...
