  • Jackson Fusion which locking nut?

Having bought a nice 42mm replacement I have noticed it stands taller than the original.

    Hmm...

Is there a modern nut that fits this Gibson scale neck?

If it's a 1990 Fusion Pro with ebony board, you need the Schaller version, not the Floyd Rose version. If it's any other version, you need the BH42 import nut.

On the original Jackson Fusion Pro (like Newc posted) it would be an R3 nut.

I've had the same problem on a few guitars, and it seems like the best solution would be to get it routed for an OFR nut? That way it'll never be hard to replace should it ever wear out (not that an OFR nut will wear out anytime soon..)
