    Swapping EMG and Blackouts

    Am I able to do a one for one swap of active EMG 81/85 and SD Blackouts without any rewiring?

    The quick connectors look the same but I want to check before I just connect it and short out a pickup or something.

    This is what I think of Gibson since 1993. I HATE BEING LEFT HANDED! I rock out to Baby metal because Wilkinsi said I can't listen to Rick Astley anymore.

      The quick connectors should just plug into the SD. Ive swapped my mine back and forth with EMG's a couple of times. The solderless setup might be different, I don't know.

        The pots are the same impedance but you may have to wire in the pickups to the pot and switch the rest is the same set up. Not 100% sure the connections are the same on the emgs as the blackouts
