  • Soloist w/out pickup ring question

    Guys,

I was thinking of using a Fishman midi pickup on a soloist that has no pickup ring, and has the bridge pickup mounted to the body. Do you think there is enough room between a OFR and an typical humbucker pickup? (in this case a Seymour Duncan)

    Pickup Dimensions: 4.11” L (104.4mm) x 0.34” W (8.6mm)

Aren't there floyds with a piezo/midi system installed (looks a hell of a lot cleaner)

Please promise me that you wont be drilling holes in that soloist.

That's not his guitar. It's a pic of forum member Dave Rocks' guitar.

Ah, one of the twins. Looked familiar. Close call averted.

As toejam said. It's just an example.

Correct, nightbat, and I have one by Graphtech just for the piezo. I could make it work with midi as well, however, it won't be wireless. The selling point of the Fishman is it is wireless midi.
