  • What pickup could be useful in this situation?

I have a Jackson RR3 with an Alder body and maple top, and I'm looking to swap the bridge pickup, the neck can stay. What's stopping me is what pickup to use. Normally I'd throw actives in and call it day but I don't have that kind of money right now. I'm looking for a passive higher output type pickup that can really give the guitar more brightness and treble, as it's way too muddy even with the tone knob cranked on the guitar and amp. Anyone who has this guitar should know what I'm talking about. Can anybody give me some good options?

Custom or a Custom 5. If it's a brighter guitar try the Custom Custom. All great pickups
      It's pronounced soops

        Why not a Jackson J90C?

Great output with tons of mids and treble there as well.
