Mod-Time!!! Need advice!

Hi guys!!

I'm in the process of modding two of my guitars, a jackson DK1 and a Charvel So-Cal. I need some help with the so-cal one.
Here's the issue:

I don't have a lot of room or tools so the parts has to be as close to correct as possible. I'm ordering a new Pickguard from warmoth.
I understand that the neck pocket on this will be a little tight?

I plan to do this:

The mini-3-way is a bit small. Will it fit a standard hole made for a potentiometer?

the hole for the pot will be larger than for a hole for a mini switch.
you will need to obtain some washers,
or a pickguard that has no middle hole, or a hole for a mini, or....

the seller on ebay guitarpartsonline, he makes pickguards with custom setups or no holes. very inexpensive & he was great to deal, we had an issue on my first pickguard i ordered but it was taken care of with no hassles.
