Original Floyd Rose on an import Fusion (Takeushi Bridge) ?

It is a JT-580 Takeushi (it's not the LP) , and yes I've searched for this same question on the forums, but I always like to make my own question to be sure.
Based on the threads I found, the original floyd rose will fit on the JT-580LP route, not so sure it will on the Jt-580. I found that some guy put an OFR on a Fusion, and the locking screws were so long, that he was unable to pull back the bridge. I need to change the bridge soon cause my Fusion is from 1993 (Serial # starts with 3) and the Takeushi bridge has been failing constantly.

if you want a perfect fit, able to pull up with no issues whatsoever, you'll need a ofr low pro that allows you to lock your strings at the saddle--not an ofr.
