Noob question: Will an RR fit into a KV case?

I am trying to get rid of a KV case and a dude wants to buy it but he says he has an RR.

The case is one of those old rectangular KV cases:



I have no idea if it will fit or not? Any insight? I did a forum search but couldn't find anything.

My initial response was that it wasn't going to fit due to the different size horn, but then I checked the case for my RR1T, and it looks like yours. My 25.5" scale KV2T wouldn't fit in there, though.

That was my initial thought as well. I found this on the forum. Looks like it's a close call

My RR came with a case cut for a full V, not an offset V, so I'd say most likely it will fit.

yeah every case i had for an RR was a full V cutout so id agree with ^^
and by javerts post it sounds like an rr to kv case would be fine just not vice versa

I checked a couple ebay auctions as well and people have KV cases for their RRs as you mentioned. Thanks again.
