  • Model 6 bridge n neck pups cutting out

Its the bridge n neck pups if i flick the mini toggles multiple times the come back on.

now im thinking some of that magical contact cleaner will do the job but how do i spray these? Just into the joints?

Those mini switches are sealed. If you are careful, MAYBE you can drip some cleaner down the joystick into the switch, but I can't remember how they look off the top of my head.

Do you have a lot of humidity in your area? usually that's how open air (Les Paul style) switches get corroded. The humid air oxidizes the shiney contact area. Working the switch cleans it off. I leave my 3 way switches in the middle position when not in use to keep air from getting to the contact area.

Yes, that only worked for the bigger 3 way toggle switches.

Good to hear you go it working. How did you do it, as those micro switches are sealed?
