Gus G blackouts

I have ordered all the parts I need for the 750XL project. The only thing left is pickups.

I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the Gus g set of actives. I am also currently considering a 81x 60x set.

Since we are filling the midddle route I can go with the 2 pickups.

I was watching a video with Gus G talking about them and they are basically just regular Duncan passives (he doesn't say which ones and they may be custom wound for him.) with the blackout preamp built on the volume control.
