Hi, my key for my PRS custom 24 fell case under the felt or vinyl of the case. Does anyone know how to get it without destroying the case.

Is this the same crapass generic skeleton key made of crapass probably-not-ferrous metal that all cases come with? If so, a magnet may not get it.I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

IMO, keys are useless. If someone wants to swipe the guitar, they'll take the whole thing and break the case open. If you really want a replacement key, I'd give the case maker a call. Shouldn't be a big deal.Comment

That's like saying you shouldn't lock your car because if someone wants to steal it they will. A lock keeps an honest man honest, and while it won't keep out someone who is going to steal it regardless, it may be just enough to make someone think twice.
