    I was wondering if anyone has tried this method of removing some buckle rash on the back of their guitars and how they liked the results.

        A scraper will make very fast work of lacquer, as you see here. As far as polys go, it's not as fast, but still effective.

        As far as buckle rash goes; a scraper isn't going to remove that; those are indentations in the wood.
