  • What trem is this?

This is on a Fender. Is this interchangeable with an OFR?

    Here's a better angle:

Uhm, it's a little blurry bro. Just sayin.
I want to go out nice and peaceful in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming and hollering like the passengers in his car.

That's the best photo I have. I'm hoping someone would recognize the unit.

I'm not 100% sure but it kind of look like an Ibanez trem. Looks like it could be the Edge III trem.

I have never seen one like that before.
I was thinking Ibanez when I first saw it.Looks like an OFR would fit.

i have but i can't remember where...the rounded areas are the key to identifying it...only one i can remember off the top of my head that looks similar is a gotoh or allparts floyd rose...but i don't think that's what this is...d.m.

Yeah, in the first pic the saddles scream gotoh, but that second pic almost looks like a different trem.

Yeah, I'm certain it's the Gotoh. It also has Gotoh tuners which is odd for a Strat.

So the Gotoh is swappable with an OFR, correct?

Looks like it. At worst you'd have to use a Schaller with the shorter barrels.

That would be a bonus. I prefer the Schaller units.

I haven't had a Gotoh, but I see many saying they make the best OFR style these days.

Oh, this is a double locking system?

I thought it was single locking by the look of the string holes... Hmm... I'm gonna get this guitar and check it out. If it's double locking, I don't have to swap it out!

I'm pretty sure it should be, but you never know.
