  • the last of the hardtails??

Anybody know where I can get a brass hardtail (even just the plate would do) with the thick bent plate style, like this one:

I've tracked down a few sources for brass bridges, all with the short plates. (including wayne charvel)

could I de-chrome one of the bridges off the dreamsicle charvel?

    Try this seller on ebay:

He gets a lot of Jackson/Charvel related parts. Had a hardtail recently up for sale.

Allparts Japan actually did stock a version of the Jake E Lee bridge but it was slightly different and chromed/black (If I recall reverse to how JAke's was a black plate with chrome saddles)

As far as I know Kahler machined these original ones and most of them floating around are either NOS or Charvel Collectors with Machine Shop capabilities...

As I stated, Wayne Charvel makes a brass one but with a shorter bent plate area...if all else fails I can always go that route.

Rich; Dimarzio also made a similar bridge back in the 80's, & yes they are almost as hard to find as the APM charvel ones.

& if you need i have one of those old bent style hardtail baseplates, I will look i may even have the one you want somewhere.
