  • Dimarzio Evolution???

I pulled a pickup out of one of my guitars cause I couldnt remember what it was. I do know I got it out of a box of random pickups from the workshop at a store I used to work at. Anyways, it has no stamp on the bottom but has that dimarzio(hex) look and the only type of marking is a blue sticker that says US patent 4.501.185 which is the same number as a dimarzio evolution. So my question is, were they ever made with a nonstamped base? Also, is there any way to find out if its a neck/bridge model? Thanks in advance.

My old Double Whammy didn't say dimarzio on the base plate at all. I bought it new in 1990 but some from that time were stamped. Is it trem spaced?
    It's pronounced soops

Looks to be. Lines up with strings fine.

check the specs with a meter, and email dimarzio-their tech people are pretty sharp.

My f spaced dimarzio has an "F" stamped on the metal, right on the back. The model number is on a sticker tho
