    trem or non trem spacing?

    Hey guys,
    1st, sorry for all the questions, still getting used to my first charvel... That being said, I'm in the process of switching out my neck pickup out of my slime green san dimas. I'm not sure if the neck needs to be trem spaced? I know the bridge does, but not sure on the neck...thanks!!

    If you can find an F-spaced neck pickup, go for it,

    dont think they exist, so no

      It depends on what pickup you put in it. There are F spaced neck pups out therelike the Dimarzio Evolution (neck) but some sets only come with a standard 50mm (Gibson spaced) for the neck even though the bridge pup is F spaced like the Suhr Doug Aldrich set. So I do not think it really matters all that much. Even with the non-trem spaced pups the strings deviate from the posts just a little at the neck. You should be fine either way.

          If you CAN get f-spaced - I think you should - if not....meh....I don't think it matters that much....

            The neck possition isn't f-spaced so dont worry about it. Measure the one you have in there and you'll see it isn't. Almost all my guitars have a humbucker in it and none of them are f-spaced

              Neck pickups should never be F-spaced
