Snakeskin

Just wondering if anyone here knows what they use to paint a snakeskin finish?

I don't care about spraying it, just would like to know what is used as the "stencil".

Is it a mesh bag? Ladies fishnet stockings?

I think the custom shop guys mentioned it was the netting they use for produce at super markets. I thought that's what they said at a Clinic down in Houston.

Gotta love how "simple" some of the coolest finishes are. The technique for swirls still amazes me to this day.
