  • Jackson PC-1 -- PCB connectors

    Hi all,

If anyone owns a Jackson PC-1 and is thinking about changing out the bridge and/or middle pickups - this may help you.

The pickups are wired to the sustainer's printed circuit board rather than soldered to the pots and switches.

Instead of re-using the PCB connectors from the stock pickups, you can make your own by ordering the correct crimp terminals and housings.

Here are the exact parts you'll need:

    Crimp housing: Molex 50-57-9002R
    Crimp terminal: Molex 16-02-0103

I found them online at http://www.jameco.com The Jameco part numbers are:

    Crimp housing: 884301
    Crimp terminal: 741685

By using new PCB connectors, you'll be able to keep the stock pickups as is and if you ever want to go back to stock or even make additional p'up sets, changing them out will be plug and play.
