    I think its priced to high. if it was priced accordingly, I would be tempted to try it and refin the HS face.

    I'd also be concerned about the ware on the neack freats.

        You would have to make a glue jig to do it right. Is the other piece with the guitar? If not, you will have to clean up the glue edge on the headstock and reglue a piece to it. Not a problem really, then you would need to repaint the headstock.
