  • EMG wiring?

Have decided on using EMG pickups in yet another of my guitars. It would be an HSS+vol+tone+5-way setup, making use of an old SA I have in my partsbin. Problem is, EMG will only give me wiring diagrams for the solderless versions. I wouldn't mind having it solderless, but I'd like to use what's in the parts-bin (along with whatever used EMG pickups I can find for sale). Does anyone have pre-solderless wiring diagrams? Or could anyone just tell me what wire should go where? I was thinking pickup red -> switch -> battery -> output, would that work?
    I guitar, therefore, I am a Guitarer

I hope these diagrams remain around, I got a few EMGs in my parts bin and none are solderless.

red is battery, white or core wire is hot, Black or shielding is ground. connect it like you would a strat. But disconnect the bridge ground.

Or leave it if you like getting shocked . I still gotta give props to Jackson for wiring bridge grounds in guitars like the RR24 that come with EMG actives. Makes it easier to put passives in, AND punishes active users
