    so I was never able to find out if the Jacks DR-2 came stock with a split coil ??

        It's not hard to install a push/pull pot to make it split... as long as the pickup is 4-conductor.
        I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

            That's funny because my RR2 came with a push/pull volume knob installed.

              The tone knob on my '94 Dinky HX also had a push/pull coil splitter. It wasn't advertised as such when I bought it from the Venneman's Music Emporium newspaper/catalog in '94 or '95, but apparently those models all came with them. It's also one of the few models never in an actual Jackson catalog.
