  • Magnet swap in JB

    Hi guys !
I decided to swap a ceramic magnet into JB. I just wanted more tighter sound out of it. So which of theese http://www.mojotone.com/guitar-parts/Bar-Magnets ceramic magnets will fit right in ? Thanks !

If your putting a C8 in it, what you'll have is a Duncan distortion. Both have the same resistance, just different mags JB A5, Distortion C8. Might sound tighter.

              $155?

No wonder US economy is going down, they're killing their own export by asking insane shipping fees

@plon thx for link, but shipping prices are 35$ :/ Right now the cheapest alternative is buying cheap korean HB with ceramic magnet and ripping that one out.

Try the Duncan Forum. A lot of magnet swapping goes on around there, and I'm sure somebody knows of a cheaper alternative.

^ I think you got my question wrong. I was aksing about magnet sizes, not types.
